The Fall Finale For Gotham Is Upon Us
The Fall Finale for Gotham is upon us and Fox was “kind” enough to release a series of pictures which, sadly, give away the entire plotline for the episode to come. The Fall Finale is entitled “Worse Than a Crime” and it appears that Galavan has his way. Almost. Bruce is faced with “the justice” that the Galavans have to deliver as a response to the Wayne’s crime that occurred more than a century in the past. But we all know what is going to happen, right?
Bruce will live, but the spoilers are related to who is not going to make it. It appears that saving Bruce will not be an easy task and it will end with casualties: some characters who we will not be seeing anymore starting with the next episode. Fox has also described that, in order to save Bruce, Jim will have to side with some allies that he does not exactly want, but it must be done for the greater good.
From the pictures we can see that Jim is going to ally with Penguin, who will be bringing his armed gang in order to finish Galavan. The deal is practically a win-win for both of them. Jim gets to save Bruce and Penguin gets his revenge on the man who murdered his mother. Whether events will unfold like this or not, we will just have to wait and see.
Needless to say, Alfred will also be involved in Bruce’s saving, but Selina Kayle is the one with the most interesting role: Bruce is revealed in a room filled with the priests Galavan has been working with and, in another picture, Selina appears wearing the same robe as the ones the priests are wearing. So whether we like it or not, Selina seems to be Bruce’s guardian angel in this episode. It is part of her developing character, as she seems to recognize that Bruce is a true friend and she wants to prove him the same.
We all know that Bruce is going to make it out alive, so we expect the episode to be quite a gripping one, with perhaps more storylines that will keep the audience entertained. If Fox revealed that we are also going to experience the loss of a character or two, they might as well be good characters that we will miss or whose deaths might have a serious impact in the show.
The Fall Finale for Gotham is upon us and we want it to be something big, something that will make us want more after we are done with the holidays and we sure hope that Fox will not disappoint.
