Proud To Present The Time Round
The smart watch industry is not as popular as the smartphone one. It is not yet certain whether it is because of the lack of practicality or that it has to be tied to your hand all the time, but smartphones simply beat smart watches for the time being. But what if there was one watch that could transcend the trend? Not the Apple one, but something practical and sexy that would make you actually need it?
We are proud to present the Time Round, a smart watch that was released by Pebble Technology Corp. It is quite a beauty and it seems to be extremely practical as well. This new player seems to be the lightest and thinnest smart watch around with measurements that could make your jaw drop: 7.5 millimeters and 28 grams.
The advertising behind the watch is also very elegant as it comes equipped with an e-paper display. Pebble Tech proudly stated that the display “discreetly camouflages the smarts within”. The truth is that it looks like a normal watch, but isn’t it this elegance that draws the majority of us to finesse and elegance?
If we already caught your attention, let’s look at the watch specifics. It comes in two different sizes: either 20 millimeters or 14 millimeters. As for the colors, black and silver are the standard ones, but there is a very unique, special-edition Rose Gold that you can only acquire for the 14 millimeter version.
There is a price to pay for such a unique specimen, however: battery life. Time Round can only live as long as two days without being charged. The rest of the maker’s models can survive up to 10 days without requesting their owner to plug them in, but the truth is that none of the other models can rise to the Time Round’s level.
Apart from this inconvenience, the phone is equipped with a microphone, in case you want to give voice instructions, it is splash-resistant and the luxurious 64-color display that will enrich your experience with your new beloved gadget.
Does it look interesting thus far? Do you think it can compete with Apple’s watch? Given the fact that the company has been around since 2009 and has sold 1 million watches, we can give a round of applause. And it might just make it. In case you are interested in the smart watch, prices start at $249 and shipment is expected to commence in November this year.
