Obama Has Big Plans For Climate Change

Obama Has Big Plans For Climate Change

Terrorism alone does not seem to occupy the President of the United States’ agenda. I seems like Obama has big plans for climate change in the years to come, ensuring that whatever it is that he is leaving behind will have a positive impact on all of humanity. He is not only interested in the wellbeing of the American people, but Asian men alike and he promised that he will look into the matter accordingly.

The entire world is on the brink of a decisive historical moment as a decision needs to be made regarding climate change and how we can get out of harm’s way. Specialists have also stated that this might be the last moment in which we can make a stand and sign a deal that could have a greater impact in the years to come and on the generations that will follow.

During a chief executive meeting that took place in Manila, Obama sought to create a good environment which could finally lead to everyone participating and discussing the deal. The deadline is upon us, however, and Obama will have to fly to Paris at the end of this month in order to see things done. But judging by the way things have developing until now, things will not end well, or at least not as well as they could have.

During the meeting Obama said that the “businesses can do right by your bottom lines and by our planet and future generations”. He also claimed that every rule that humanity chose to abide in terms of economy growth and climate change “is outdated” because we live in an era in which economy growth and emission reduction can go hand in hand. Anything is possible as long as we want it to be possible. But if we decide to keep dodging over and over again, we will not reach the destination that we need.

While no country in the world is above climate change, the Asian region is predisposed to very weak economical income and activity. Why? Because it has low-lying islands. If officials in the area will not make any sort of changes to reduce gas emissions, these islands will surely fall prey to economic disruption and any other climate change-related issues.

Obama has big plans for climate change, but he also needs the other officials and world leaders’ implication. One man and one country cannot carry the entire world on their shoulders.
