Missouri Sports Bar Verbal Spar Takes Deadly Turn
On Wednesday evening, the Missouri authorities were summoned to Show-Me’s Sports Bar & Grill after a caller told the emergency dispatcher that a man was shot inside the bar. Minutes later, the authorities arrived and transported 43-year-old Scott Beary to the local hospital who sustained a critical gun wound.
Unfortunately, hours later, the man passed away due to his injuries. Based on the descriptions supplied by various eyewitnesses, the authorities managed to take an unidentified 54-year-old man into custody, allegedly the shooter.
According to the various testimonies, Beary was inside the Missouri Sports Bar talking to the man about various things. At one point, the men argued about the average size and weight of a German Shepherd dog.
Although the argument sounded like it’s likely to take a turn for the worse, the two changed the subject and started talking about constructions. Upon leaving, the two exchanged phone numbers, and Beary asked the man if he has any hard feelings about losing the argument.
One eyewitness told the authorities that the man cussed Beary, who, in turn, got up from the table and tried to punch the aggressor. At that point, the man pulled up a gun and shot Beary a couple of times.
The authorities declared that the man will not be formally charged for the time being, as they have yet to determine if the individual acted in self-defense or if he cussed Beary in order to legitimize his actions.
