Jon Snow Took His Place On The Iron Throne
Jon Snow took his place on the Iron Throne. Calm down, we are not talking about the actual character here and we promise you that there are no spoilers involved either. It just happens that that there are famous with the same legendary name walking the Earth and this even has surely risen the interest of many Game of Thrones clans.
But if we are not talking about the lovable Kit Harrington, who are we in fact talking about? This Jon Snow is not a Night’s Watch commander, he did not go beyond the Wall to face the dangers of the North and he sure does know a lot more than nothing. We are talking about the British TV star Jon Snow, host of one of UK’s most prominent TV shows since 1989.
Snow decided that Thursday would be his glory day, so he tweeted a picture of himself sitting on Westeros’ most wanted chair. And what a moment that was! It looks like Snow wants to see back revived and sitting on this Throne in the seasons to come and with Jon’s debatable resurrection coming up this year, we really do not know what to expect.
The TV host is 68 years old and he already made a name for himself in April 2014 when he had an interview with Kit Harrington on his newly released movie “Pompeii”. While they were talking about the movie, Snow dipped into the subject for a little bit to see how Kit reacted to this sort of “coincidence”. We had a few good laughs back then.
Either way, IRL Snow has made considerable progress compared to the imaginary one. Even if the Westerosi Jon Snow is widely suspected to have a strong claim to the Iron Throne, he has never been remotely close to it the series. And even if he were, we really doubt that he would take the all royal stance and start fighting for it all of a sudden. Jon Snow is an honorable character, not a picky one.
Even if Jon Snow took his place on the Iron Throne, the TV series is far from over, not to mention the books. So we will have to just wait and see how it all plays out. The probability of the R+L=J theory is around 99% true, but what we want to know is how Join will react to this realization. Will he fight for the Throne? Or will he just make sure that Sansa becomes the queen of the North?
