Jon Snow Lives And He Will Be Back
The bastard of Winterfell: officially the cliffhanger of 2015, he is still the number one subject on every reader or Game of Thrones viewer’s lips a few months after his apparent demise. Yes, we can use apparent freely now, because we are not even sure if this is a spoiler anymore or not. Jon Snow lives and he will be back in season 6 and in George R.R. Martin’s next books.
Snow’s death came a surprise to us all, as the world of Westeros is evolving towards two very specific battles: mankind versus the others and mankind versus mankind itself. Snow and Daenerys seemed to have been the only positive and worthy-to-look-up-to leaders, but when Martin, David and Dan decided to stab him to death, nobody reacted well.
After the last episode of season 5 aired, the world literally blew up and entered the denial phase, believing that Jon will come back. People mourned Jon, even prayed for his return, others were silent and sure about him emerging again and sites tried gathering audience based on fan theories of how Jon will be resurrected by Melisandre, how he warged into Ghost or how he is Azor Ahai.
In early 2015, a Song of Ice and Fire trilogy outline was thrown on the internet for everyone to see. According to the outline, Snow is one of the few characters who will survive the war for Westeros. There are five characters suspected to see the end and those are Arya, Bran, Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion.
In the meantime, Kit Harrington was spotted filming what seemed to be an important battle in Belfast this month and when he was interviewed about Game of Thrones and the impact it had on this life, he declared that he will be in his thirties when he will be done with it. Harrington is 28 at the moment, Throne is set for another 3 years, so this is pretty much everything we need to conclude that Jon Snow will be coming back.
