Apple has been working on a new model of iPhone: iPhone 8. This new smartphone has interesting features and is going to be a revolution for the iPhone series. This new phone comes because the iPhone series makes 10 years now. It is believed that in September 2017 the iPhone 8 is going to be released on the market.
Some details have been revealed a year before the iPhone 8 comes on the market. It is going to surprise its customers with some interesting features. For instance, the home button is not going to be a part of this new design. Another interesting feature is the OLED screen which is going to look like a clean piece of glass.
The OLED screen is one of the most interesting design developments because it is going to solve the most important problem that iPhone has: low battery life. This display creates its own light. Compared to the LCD display this one uses less battery because it is much more flexible. It is also better because the OLED display has fewer chances of being scratched.
“The next iPhone will be, I am told, a clear piece of glass with a next-generation OLED screen,” said a tech blogger, Robert Scoble.
Specialists expect iPhone 8 to have aluminum metal or stainless steel and a front made from glass. The back is going to look like iPhone 4. The home button is going to be “killed” and it is going to have fingerprints sensors as a replacement. Nobody knows exactly what type of technology Apple will use. Some experts believe that they are going to use TDDI which stands for touch and display driver integration.
The iPhone 8 is believed to have an iris scanning technology. This means that the screen is going to scan your iris so that you feel more protected and nobody else can use your device without your approval. The dual camera feature is going to come only on the iPhone 8 Plus. This is only if they are going to release 2 models by 2017, just like iPhone 7. The 2 models are going to be iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
People are expecting an optical image stabilization to come on these new models. This means that the phones are going to have telephoto lenses and wider angle. The iPhone 8 is going to be released in 2017, but nobody knows exactly when.
