Indianapolis investigating the case of one-year-old toddler mutilated by a daycare worker.
The Indianapolis police have launched an official inquiry after an Indiana mother accused a daycare worker of mutilating her son’s face. A daycare center spokesperson declared that the boy’s condition is the result of an unfortunate accident involving a 2-year-old girl’s temper tantrum.
Indianapolis Police Skeptical of Toddler Brutalizing Infant
Tiffany Griffin, the mother of the one-year-old infant who was recently hospitalized with severe head and face trauma, declared that she does not believe that a two-year-old could be capable of mutilating her son’s face.
According to the woman’s testimony, on Monday, when she went to pick up her son from the Kiddiegardern daycare center, Griffin was horrified to discover her son’s face covered in blood. The woman told the police that his son’s eyes were terribly swollen and that he had scratch marks on his face.
Apparently, the incident disturbed Griffin so much that the Indianapolis mother punched a Kiddiegarden employee in the face. Mrs. Griffin believes that one of the daycare center’s employees pummeled her son.
Following the incident and the boy’s subsequent medical examination, the authorities launched an investigation.
Haben Ghebremichael, the owner of the Indiana daycare center, declared that she was made aware of this incident and she’s shocked about something like this occurring on her watch.
However, Ghebremichael noted that despite Griffin’s allegations, there’s no evidence of any of her employees assaulted the one-year-old. The daycare owner added that the boy was attacked by a 2-year-old girl, who is known to act from time to time.
More than that, Ghebremichael told the Indianapolis police that the daycare worker Griffin punched was actually the one who separated the children after the attack.
Conclusion
Despite Ghebremichaels’s assurances, Griffin doesn’t believe that the child is not capable of inflicting those injuries. The Indianapolis police are still investigating Griffin’s allegations.
