G Suite is the collection anyone who needs online productivity tools has to have. The products in this set are various and include Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The ease with which one can share, swap platforms, and show others edits in real time turned them into ideal collaboration software across professional mediums. However, the new massive updates are kicking it up a notch. They introduced new collaboration features from partners such as DocuSign, LegalZoom, LucidArt, and others.
The Update Allows Users to Save Various Versions of the Same Document They Are Working on
As of Wednesday, Google implemented new changes to its Docs, Slides, and Sheets. Most of the new updates are long overdue, but there are others that unlocked the latest technology to streamline office work. One of the most potent features is allowing users to add notes to a document from a tablet or phone. This allows busy professionals never to let a bright idea slip through their fingers while commuting or on the go.
Another insightful change concerns the entire suite of Google Docs Sheets and Slides and regard claiming control of version history. This means that Google is now autosaving dozens of versions of the documents users are editing.
Not only that, but people can now name certain versions of documents for a better track of the evolution of a project. Google can then display only those versions that received a name of their own. This way, people can find what they need more easily than before.
The New Collaboration Features Are Offering a Cleaner Perspective When There Are Too Many Side Notes
Next up is the integration of Google Cloud Search directly into Google Docs. This process alone can help G Suite Business and Enterprise clients work quickly. From now on, they don’t have to leave their documents that they are editing to head for Cloud Search to find information. They can do that now directly from the Documents or Slides they are working on.
Google is also allowing users to read a document without edits or notifications and without erasing these extra details. This should make the reading experience a more effective one without the added noise at the margins. All in all, Google Docs service is ready now to host new collaboration features that will make life easier at work.
