Florida driver was entirely covered in vomit when the deputies found her.
The Florida Sheriff’s deputies recently came across one of the strangest cases of substance abuse. According to the authorities, a 34-year-old Florida driver was picked up from a Walmart parking lot and taken to the hospital after she inhaled a significant quantity of heated compressed air.
Florida Driver Covered in Vomit and Saying that She Has Nowhere to Be
On Tuesday, a Walmart store employee dialed 911 and told the emergency dispatcher that a woman in her 30s came into the store several times that day and bought cans of compressed air.
The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office dispatched deputies to the store to investigate. Upon entering the parking lot, the Sheriff’s deputies discovered a suspicious vehicle immobilized in the parking lot.
After approaching the car, the deputies saw a 34-year-old woman, later identified as Tammy Irvin, sitting in the car and covered in vomit. Next to her, was a compressed air blower and a container of compressed air. A search of the vehicle revealed that Irvin had several more cans of compressed air in the trunk.
When the sheriff’s deputies asked Irvin what she was doing, Irving answered that she’s just sitting there, inhaling compressed air and plans on doing this all day because she has nowhere to be.
Conclusion
According to Florida driver’s arrest warrant, the woman placed the compressed air blower on its highest setting and inhaled heated air. The woman was taken into custody and charged with inhaling a dangerous chemical. She was also taken to the hospital for medical attention.
This case involving the Florida drivers bears a striking resemblance to the 2015 Mellissa Ann Wright case, the woman who was caught huffing Ultra Duster outside Walmart. Following the incident, she suffered chemical burns, frostbite, and was on the brink of suffering a fatal heart attack.
