Karma and Mavic Pro are two drones that have hit the market starting last month. The problem is that Mavic Pro is not yet prepared to be delivered to all of the people who already pre-ordered it. DJI has some problems with producing these drones in time.
People have been pre-ordering the Mavic Pro drone since September and some of them did not receive their product yet. This is why so many people are now commenting on forums saying that it is frustrating to wait for months for a product to arrive. They were supposed to receive the pre-ordered Mavic Pro on October 15, which was its official launch date but that didn’t happen.
DJI is apologizing for this delay saying that they will solve the problem and everybody will receive their products by the end of the year. Of course, people are not pleased knowing that they have to wait one more month for the drone.
“We owe you an apology for our delays in delivering the new Mavic Pro,” said DJI on a statement.
Some people think that the producers of Mavic Pro have rushed the launch of the product because Go Pro was also launching Karma. This drone, Karma, was launched 7 days before DJI released Mavic. They started shipping their product 8 days after Mavic. Despite the fact that Go Pro started shipping Karma after DJI started, Go Pro managed to ship every product in time.
DJI mentioned that one of the problems that delayed the shipping of the products is that there have been more requests than they expected. They did not expect as many people to order the Mavic Pro drone and now they don’t have the possibility to ship the products on time.
After giving a public apology they said that they will try to speed up the product as much as possible in order to give everybody their product until the end of the year. For the ones that are expecting the drone, they will have to wait for a few more weeks.
Mavic Pro is a drone that has an extensive feature set, light weight, and small size. The price that people are going to pay in order to own this product is $1,000. Let’s hope that the products arrive before 2017 and that the customers are pleased with what they paid for.
