Diablo III Season 4 On Its Way
The fourth season of Diablo III is set to kick off later this month, and Blizzard wants to make sure that you have new things to look forward to. A new set of rewards was established for season 4, so if this already sounds cool to you, stay a while and listen.
The loot that you will be able to drop in season 4 will include a special set of Legendaries which you cannot drop elsewhere. Bane of the Stricken is one of the many examples, which boosts the damage received by an enemy for every successful consecutive attack. Not only that, but the Bane also increases your damage against Rift Guardians and bosses by 25%.
If you’re more into Witch Doctors, then the new Henri’s Perquisition might be the Legendary you are looking for. The funny thing about this item is that it was made out of an actual cat who was minding her own business when she was caught in a ritual and transformed into a magic object.
The new season also beings back some items that you could get back in Season 1. We’re talking about the Conqueror’s Helm and shoulder pads. If you are interested in getting these rare cosmetics, you will need to reach level 70 with one Seasonal hero at least.
Blizzard wants to add a little more clarity into their game, so they added a new feature called Season Journey. The Season Journey will allow you to keep track of your progress in Diablo III as it breaks the challenges into Tiers and Chapters. Break all the challenges by the end of the season and you will be rewarded with a portrait fame and a little mutant cosmetic pet.
The main goal of Diablo III’s seasons is for a player to create a character and defeat as many challenges as they can before the season ends. But rewards are not everything players achieve in the game. They are also encouraged to participate into Conquests, which bring more fun, adventure and team play in Blizzard’s community.
However, when a season ends, the character used to play that season enters the player’s character pool, which means that, in the following season, players have to start from scratch once again.
These are only a few of the new features added in the next season. While it is set to start on August 28, season 4 is not the even Diablo players are looking forward to, but the new expansion that is going to come out in the near future.
