A Dearborn Heights mom raised some hell last week after she found out that one of her son’s substitute teacher abused boy during class. According to the woman, the substitute teacher placed duct tape on her 5-year-old mouth to discipline him.
Dearborn Heights Mom Said That Son Has Asthma
Recently, Houda Dannaoui, a Dearborn Heights mother began voicing her concern the quality of education the students receive at the Cherry Hill Baptist Church School, following an incident which allegedly occurred on the 26th of March.
According to Mrs. Dannaoui, while picking up her 5-year-old son from school, the child told her about how one of the substitute teachers used duct tape on his mouth. Abdul Dannaoui, the woman’s child, recalled that the substitute teacher came up to him and placed duct tape over his mouth before throwing his lunch bag in the trashcan.
The Dearborn Heights mom said that this incident might have put her son’s life at risk as Abdul has asthma.
After the woman reported the incident, Dr. Laurine VanValkenburg, the establishment’s superintendent, declared that the substitute teacher was fired. VanValkenburg added that the individual’s actions do not reflect the collective’s teaching principles.
Still, Mrs. Dannaoui declared that this wasn’t the first time her 5-year-old son was abused by one his teacher. The Dearborn Heights mom told a local news outlet that after the duct tape incident another teacher came to Abdul and offered him a bracelet in exchanged for his silence.
VanValkenburg, who was made aware of Dannaoui’s allegations, declared that there’s not enough evidence to suggest that the second incident took place.
Conclusion
After talking to her attorney, the boy’s mother decided to transfer Abdul to another school and file a lawsuit against the institution. The woman claimed that her son was abused and ridiculed for no reason by his teachers.
