Steam has prepared a lot of surprises for this autumn.
Autumn is here! Leaves would fall, a chill wind blows outside and more people choose to stay inside to watch Nature’s show, tucked away in their blanket and sipping hot cocoa from their mugs. What can be more heartwarming and comforting than this? Well, maybe a little game to chase away those melancholy goblins. Fret not and do not fall into depression, because autumn’s chill brings Steam’s jingle.
So, drop that mug of cocoa, throw away that blanket, leap into your chair and browse, browse away my friend. But that’s not all the good news. The wintery season also comes with its own Black Friday. And how to start of a great winter sale, than with Valve announcing that a major discount for all its titles.
Remember those 9gag memes, with the child getting beat up by his father, but instead of their faces, the user played around with a photo editor. So, instead of a harsh face, the father would Steam’s logo and instead of a child’s crying face, there is a wallet filled with money instead. Hence, as autumn comes around, the only natural thing to do is to prepare our wallets to take quite a beating.
And why should we do that considering Steam’s mega discounts? I mean, who wouldn’t leap to buy out great games like the Fallout series or Tom Clancy series for just a couple of euros. It’s all fun and games and laughter, but we should refrain ourselves and get a bit more serious. Because there is actually a bad piece of news. According to the developers, this is the final discounts that they will be able to provide for their games on the Steam platform. So, if you think it’s a good idea to continually mash the F5 key for a better bargain, then bad news.
These are the final prices announced for their games on Steam. So, if you’re planning on buying a game you always dreamed about of playing, I believe this is the time to hit the buy button. Also, making a bucket list over the year and using the wish list function can be great ideas for opportunities like things. Who knows? Maybe you’ll have some luck and your dream game gets a major discount.
Among some of the most popular games available on Steam, which also feature a discount are: the entire Fallout series, Life is unusual, a couple of games from the Tom Clancy franchise, Don’t Starve, the ever popular Witcher 3, Wolfenstein, The evil within and many others.
The campaign will be in state until the first of December.
