Missouri authorities recently arrested an unnamed woman who allegedly vandalized a nail salon on Friday. The salon’s owner told the authorities that the client became violent because she did not receive the manicure she wanted. Damages were estimated at $2,000.
Angry Customer Knocked Down Nail Polish Stands, Drove Away Customers
Sara Nguyen, the proud owner of Happy Nails Salon, a cosmetic establishment in Hazelwood, Missouri, declared that Friday’s incident upset her very much. Mrs. Nguyen said that it has always been her dream to own her very own nail salon. She fears that the incident could chase away customers.
According to the police report, on Friday, an unnamed woman stepped into Nguyen’s salon. The owner told the authorities that the client an appointment. Apparently, she was in for a set of acrylic nails.
After the nail salon’s employee finished the woman’s manicure, she became rather agitated. Nguyen said that the woman appeared disappointed by how her manicure turned out. Happy Nails Salon’s owner attempted to calm down the upset customer. She even offered to redo the job and to give her a refund.
The woman left without saying a single word. Several hours later, the nail salon customer returned. And, this time, she meant business.
According to Nguyen’s claims and the footage retrieved from the salon’s security camera, the woman began breaking bottles and spewing profanities. She left Happy Nails Salon a few minutes later, but not before knocking down several nail polish stands.
Conclusion
Nguyen said that it took her staff most of the day to clean up the woman’s mess. More than that, it would appear that the damages amounted to $2,000.
To aid the authorities, Nguyen published the footage on the salon’s social media page. And wouldn’t you know it, come the morn, the woman walked into the police station and turned herself in.
