Samsung Pay app now available on Verizon network.
Verizon network users will be able to enjoy the services of online banking and e-pay provided by Samsung pay service starting today. Verizon gets Samsung Pay and users will be able to download directly into their phone the application from Google Play Store.
Although the service was available since the 28th of September, only a handful of Samsung mobile phones were eligible to receive this applications. The service is available on all major wireless carriers including T-Mobile, U.S Cellular and AT&T.
As Verizon decided to add more phones to the list, customers that possess a Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note5 or Galaxy S6 edge+ are now able to enjoy this application.
We must point out that Samsung Pay is an award-winning application, having wrestled with big time champions like Apple Pay and Android Pay. The reason that Samsung Pay won this contest resides in the Samsung use of different forms of information transmission. Samsung Pay employs both Magnetic Secure Transmission technology and the Near Field Communication technology.
With the MST technology incorporated in its software, all users can use their phone on any magnetic card readers. Therefore, you can hope to encounter more Samsung Pay terminals in stores, outclassing any other mobile payment services.
In order to use this service, first you have to download the application from Google Play Store and install it on your Samsung phone. Fire up the application and wait for the fingerprint scanner to kick into place. After you get the confirmation message, you can virtually use your phone with any kind of payment method. Samsung Pay service use both token-like security protocols and fingerprint authentication in order to protect all transactions. The head of the company stressed out that during this procedure no cred-card or personal information is exchanged by the terminal.
Samsung Pay service seems to become quite popular among Verizon users and even financial institutions. Even now major players like American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa and a great number of banks like Chase or City come to back up Samsung’s application.
In other words, the next time you forget your credit card at home, don’t worry yourself too much. Download this little gizmo from the internet, log in and then you can go on a shopping-spree in your favorite store. It can be used with magnetic card swipe devices and other methods of wireless payment.
