Trump At The Top Would Destroy Our Country
We have all seen it: Trump reacted poorly when he was told that Obama is a Muslim. To be more specific, he did not react at all. He just let it go as if it were something normal, but it has been proven numerous other times that this was just a lie invented by those who believe conspiracy theories about how Obama is behind terrorism.
It is time to admit that Trump has given us many reasons not to elect him as our future president. Having Trump at the top would destroy our country. Simply because he is not fit to lead our country towards success.
In Trump’s mind, success is all related to making money. If something does not make money, Trump is not interested in it. So he might be good if he were to get a position in which he would make money, he would probably be a good politician. But being America’s president is not all about making America have money.
Being an American president means having at least a little bit of dignity, grace, being a good communicator, a listener and being able to empathize with both people who agree and do not agree with you. Trump has none of that. He just has a big ego and a pocket full of cash.
Our current president was born in the U.S. and Trump should at least have the dignity of correcting someone when they make a false statement. This is not a matter of opinions, a situation in which two different people can say they are right and walk away with it. This is a matter of principles. You cannot want to be a president and indirectly insult the current one.
We would also want, for once at least, to hear Mr. Trump get into specifics and not eternally beat around the bush. When he was asked about terrorist “training camps” and how the U.S, can “get rid” of Muslims, Trump answered that “we are going to be looking at a lot of different things”. Like what?
We want specifics. Are we going to look at people’s opinions and desires? Are we going to actually try to make a difference in between Muslims who are great citizens and those who are a threat to America, if there are any? We would like you to give a very precise answer, Mr. Trump, not to throw your usual indirect “we’ll deal with it” in our face. We’ve had enough of that.
