The Swedish woman was shocked to see that the artist wrote “Kelvin” instead of “Kevin”
Because naming a child is sometimes so hard, we give the story of a Swedish woman who decided that it’s easier to change her son’s name than to have a tattoo removed. The woman, who shared her story on Facebook, said that the boy’s new name is quite catchy.
Swedish Woman to Honor Children with Tattoo
Johanna Sandstrom is a Swedish mother with two very lovely children. She also has a great story to tell about how she and her husband decided to change their son’s name.
After her second child was born, Johanna decided to show everyone how much her family means by getting herself a tattoo.
And so, Mrs. Sandstrom went to the nearest tattoo joint and told the artist about the design. The woman declared that he wrote her children’s names on a piece of paper to make it easier for him.
Nothing seemed wrong at first. However, after the Swedish woman got home, she realized that something was terribly wrong.
According to Johanna’s Facebook post, the tattoo artist misspelled her son’s name. So, instead of writing “Kevin, the man wrote “Kelvin.”
Johanna said that it still bugs her how the man could have bungled the tattoo.
Later that day, the Swedish woman returned to the tattoo artist. The man told her that he could give her the money back in addition to repairing the tattoo.
Conclusion
Johanna was faced with quite a dilemma – ensure several painful sessions or go with the easy choice. And so, after conferring with her husband, the Swedish woman decided that the easiest way out was to rename her second born.
The woman admits that the name may be a little odd, but she and her husband love it. Johanna shared her story on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media channels.
