Tech giants are running a constant battle of performance, always trying to come up with impressive features that outgrow all we can find on the markets. Some of them improve the software, others improve the design, few of them design waterproof handsets and Sony now focuses on the photo features of its upcoming device. It is nevertheless a very good strategy, as an increasing number of people rely on the photographic performance on their device to capture various moments in their daily routines.
The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra will provide its users a great camera. Although previous models coming from the tech giant failed to impress us with their photographic capacities, this new model will sweep us off our feet. Or at least this is how the critics describe it.
Sony just comes from unveiling two new midrange Android 5.0 smartphones aimed at mobile photographers.
The upcoming Xperia C5 Ultra will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with rather mundane specs, apart from the photo highlight. Processing will be handled by a Cortex-A53 64-bit chipset, clocked at 1, 7 Ghz octa-core. It is also designed with a 21, 5 megapixel rear camera, with 5x Clear Image Zoom. The C5 Ultra is envisioned with two 13-MP cameras and an almost borderless 6-inch HD display. Your selfies will look perfect and your snapshots will not need editing, as the image is designed to offer high levels of clarity.
Further leaks inform us about a 20.7MP photo snapper with autofocus placed on the backside. Also, users will have LED flash and 4K video recording. The front hosts an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. It sounds highly entertaining rather than aimed at professional purposes. All the photo aficionados out there will raise their eyebrows and maybe expect for the device to land directly in their hands, as everything related to photo sounds pretty much fantastic.
In terms of internal storage, the handset will feature no less than 16GB of space, which can easily be expanded via a microSD card.
When it comes to design and appearance, the C5 Ultra will be available in shades of black, white and light green colors.
Sony Xperia C5 Ultra will come both in single and dual SIM alternatives. Starting with this month it will most probably be available in various markets but no clear information about its launch in India has been made available by now.
Last but not least, the photo performance of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra relies on features such as image stabilizer, 4x digital zoom, HDR for photos and videos, red eye reduction and geotagging. It is very clear that Sony launches a handset with impressive photo features, dedicated to those who embraced the new form of language.
