Samsung is currently preparing for the launch of its next generation Galaxy device, expected to come with highly entertaining features and specs, in order to leverage the image and general record of the mobile tech giant. The official launching event will happen on August 13. This is the first piece of novelty when it comes to Samsung Galaxy Note 5, as the guys used to release new devices at the IFA trade show in Berlin, scheduled for the beginning of September this year. Note 5 will benefit from an earlier release which could make us think that the tech giant really has something good to offer to our tech-thirsty minds.
Official invites for the upcoming release were sent out last night. The invitation is defined by an image of a phone shaped device covered by tapering waves. No other details are revealed but we surely hope that the upcoming Note 5 is worth the mystery around its release.
From the yet unconfirmed information and rumors that have spread over the world of internet, it seems that Samsung is not exactly preparing a very precious piece of mobile technology. The specs are indeed interesting but we don’t have anything revolutionary to share. Rumor has it that Note 5 along with the future Samsung S6 edge will be provided with 5, 7 inch Super AMOLED screens and 2,560 by 1,440 pixel resolutions. In terms of design and appearance, the devices will come in shades of silver, white, gold and black.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have an extremely edgy, sleek and chic flat display that will be countered by a dual-edge curved screen. The device will feature glass backs but will lack removable battery and microSD card slot. This is not very good news, as versatility is needed in modern technology and mircoSD card slots are starting to be more popular than the classic SIM cards.
In terms of software performance, Note 5 will feature an Exynos 7422 processor, completed by a chipset that combines a 64 bit octa-core, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and the Shannon LTE modem.
It sound pretty much entertaining if we come to think about it, although the specs don’t exactly tickle our imagination. The never ending story of the large phones lead us to the conclusion that tiny, delicate and performant handsets are entering the world of history. Apple still lingers on that territory though and is expected to launch a new iPhone 6C sometime later this year. Samsung is far from taking over the initiative, as it presently concentrates on expanding the dimensions of all its devices.
