A year ago, the iPhone 6 was entering the light of day with a lot of controversy implied, as it failed to provide the enthusiastic frenzy that was expected. A “bending issue” kept it from being defined as the ideal device one could have. First impressions were received with raised eyebrows, as Apple tried to turn all the bending trouble into an asset. And they eventually managed to do so.
This year, an updated alternative to the iPhone is expected, namely the iPhone 6S that will come with better, faster, stronger and steadier features. Rumor has it that the iPhone 6S will roll out in September and the guys have addressed all bending concerns by making the device considerably thicker.
Apple used to do a better job with previous launches, the iPhone 6 hasn’t exactly been the all-time favorite when it comes to users, critics and reviewers. Based on that, the company will most likely launch a new iPhone 7 (although the iPhone 6S hasn’t been confirmed for release yet) at the same time with the new iOS9 public release.
As far as we know about the iPhone 6S, it will own a new pressure sensing display and its casing is a lot thicker, with 1.9 millimeters that will ensure no bending trouble.
The device has obviously reinforced some weak points, sign that Apple has learned its lesson. It will be created with a much lighter and stronger aluminum and will be thicker on each side.
Force Touch feature will enrich both the capacities and the advancement in technology that Apple is trying to promote. Force Touch was first used in the Apple Watch and in the 12 inch retina MacBook and it received pretty good reviews from users. Force Touch is defined as a sensor based system, capable to track down the amount of pressure applied on the screen. It can be used as a lock screen technique as well, where users are able to unlock their phones after applying a certain amount of pressure.
The camera will be upgraded as well, with Apple boosting its capacities from 8 megapixels to 12 megapixels. The front camera will come with better quality and will also own a backside illumination sensor, improved aperture and 1080p HD video recording.
iPhone was never the greatest at taking pictures, which means that there is a lot of space for improvement in that matter. Hopefully, Apple will provide all the features needed to meet consumer’s expectation and do a greater job with the upcoming iPhone 6S, compared to the iPhone 6, its brother from a less consumer-oriented father.
