Nikolas Cruz Talked About Hate and His Disgust with Authority
As Cruz’s trial continues, the prosecution decided to make public several video recordings retrieved from the Parkland shooter’s smartphone.
The menacing recordings presented during Wednesday’s court proceedings bring to light how Nikolas Cruz planned what was to become one of the bloodiest school shooting in modern US history.
In one of the videos, dated February the 14th, Cruz, stricken with extasy, said that in a few moments he’d become the next shooter of 2018. With a calm demeanor, Cruz goes on saying that Marjorie Stoneman Douglas will become the stage of a grand show.
Even more terrifying is the fact that Parkland shooter estimated his body count at 20.
In another video, a drunk with joy Nikolas Cruz talks about how the event will be picked up by every news station and how everything will come to know his name. He ends the video by mimicking the sound of a machine gun firing and saying that everyone will die.
In the last video presented on Wednesday, Cruz talks about his feelings. He mentions something about being lonely his entire life and that he chose to live in solitude and seclusion. However, he says that his assault rifle will give him the strength he needs to carry out his plan.
Making Cruz’s video public is part of the prosecution’s plan of tearing down Cruz’ attorney’s defense. During his last court appearance, Cruz’s lawyer told the members of the jury that his client is prepared to plead guilty to all counts if the death penalty’s off the board.
