In a press conference, held by Libre Initiative, that took into discussion the Latin American issue aroused around Trump’s election, presidential candidate and Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush made a shocking statement. When asked by the moderator to name his favorite superhero, Jeb Bush said Supergirl is hot.
The presidential candidate seem, initially very puzzled by the question, but after pondering for some time he came out with his hilarious answer. Bush said that, although he fancies great American superheroes like Batman, he’s trying his best to keep up with today’s tendency in both comics and television and that he is somewhat familiarized with the new superheroes series called “Supergirl”.
Being a big fan of Melissa Benoist, the starring actress of the new series and best known for her role in “Glee”, Bush went on to say that she finds her “kinda’ hot”. And then, in an attempt to take his joke to the next level, he said that she’s not “kinda’ hot”, but “pretty hot”. Former administrator Daniel Graza was also present in the audience. Bush’ jest made Graza burst into laughter and told the audience that he will quickly jump to the next question.
Apart from superheroes and Bush’s appraisal of Melissa Benoist “theatrical performances”, the show went out in discussing the main theme. Bush quickly changed his tone and started to engage in discussing about Latin America. As for his part, he said that he supports Latin America all the way and even started to speak in Spanish to let all his supporters know that he also studied Latin Affairs.
He went on and, in the same ludic manner, said that his eligibility for the presidential seat is supported by the fact that he even had a love affair in Latin America. The woman who he fell in love with later became his wife by the name of Columba.
The Governor is aware of the fact that Trumps rise to power received severe criticism from the Hispanic community. Having this in mind, he uses every opportunity to win sympathizers among the Latin American community in America.
At the end of the meeting, Bush ended his statement by naming some of the measures he will put into place if he wins the elections. He also added that he loves old-school superheroes so much that he is somewhat jealous that he doesn’t own Marvel Comics.
