Iowa Mother Drank Heavily the Day of Her Arrest, Authorities Declared
Sergeant Paul Parizek, a Des Moines Police Department spokesperson, declared on Monday that a 35-year-old Iowa mother had been arrested over the weekend after her neighbors called the authorities.
According to the testimonies obtained from the witnesses, on Sunday afternoon, just before 5 p.m., an 8-year-old boy wandered into a neighboring home. The eyewitnesses told the authorities that the boy appeared confused and looked as though he stood a while in the scorching sun.
Moreover, the people who called 911 told them that the boy appeared to be concerned. When they’ve asked him about what was wrong, the 8-year-old boy told them that he had unable to wake up his mother.
The authorities arrived a few minutes later and asked the boy to point out his home. Inside they’ve found the Iowa mother, later identified as 35-year-old Morgan Brown-Edmundson, passed out on the coach. Two small children were discovered inside the house.
Parizek said that the woman had consumed narcotics before passing out. More than that, the Iowa mother was apparently quite irritated by her neighbors calling the authorities. Brown-Edmundson and her children were later transported to the hospital.
Conclusion
A hospital security guard discovered several empty alcohol bottles inside the woman’s purse. When questioned by the authorities, the woman declared that she drank heavily that day and that she gave her kids sleeping pills to make sure they sleep during the day.
