Image On Instagram Contained A GoT Spoiler
Game of Thrones is probably the most anticipated TV show and book series in the world right now and you would think that people would just sit around, going mad and waiting for the next season or book. But you would be surprised to what extent these fans would go just to spoil half the surprise. So it happened that an innocent image on Instagram contained a GoT spoiler and people put together their editing skills just to confirm the spoilfest.
The picture belonged to Elie Haddad, a French actor who had been casted as a Dothraki character for the season to come. Haddad posted an innocent picture on his Instagram account: a cup of coffee and a tablet on the table. Nothing interesting right? Game of Thrones didn’t think so. Thus, they edited to image to see what info it was displaying. And boy, did it display something.
Now with the fully edited image you can see a watermarked scrip with Haddad’s name on it, confirming that he was indeed accepted for the role. But the fun doesn’t stop here. Once he realized what a mistake he made, Haddad tried removing the picture from Instagram, which pretty much confirms everyone’s suspicion. Perhaps if he just let it be there it might have toned off, but no, now things are really confirmed.
Needless to say, his attempt was futile. Screenshots and print screens, these are the instruments at our disposal nowadays and once you go full social media you never go back. People have also translated as much as there could be seen off the script and it looks that Daenerys did not really develop a nice relationship with the Khalasar in the beginning. Not to fear, though, previously leaked images show Daenerys alive and well even in the presence of Dothraki people.
Still, it will be very interesting to see how her relationship will develop with the Khalasar since they are widely known for being a very brutal people who rape women outside of their tribe. Technically, Daenerys still is part of the Dothraki tribe, but their culture does not see her so. We will see what she has to offer in a world completely ruled by fierce men and with no white knight at her side.
So this is how it all happened: image on Instagram contained a GoT spoiler and now we got to talk about Khalasars, Daenerys and who the actor playing an important role is. It is safe to assume that once the entire GoT series is over these people should start a business about how not to spoil the most famous TV show to the world.
