A new universal app for Windows 10 has recently been launched and it aims to offer a completely revamped design that will let you keep track of all your health and fitness records across your entire batch of Windows devices. The new app is already available in the Windows store and it works both for desktops and tablets and later this year it will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10.
According to recent reviews, FitBit’s integration with Cortana, the virtual assistant designed under Microsoft’s umbrella, works pretty good in some of the cases but not extraordinarily in others. Cortana fails to understand all the FitBit commands for the time being but hopefully things will change sometime soon.
In spite of the little flaws in the system that still require some work, the best thing about Windows 10 ( and soon enough, FitBit ), is that is perfectly designed and adapted to work on any device you have, from a computer to your handset or tablet.
FitBit is aimed at keeping you healthy, by encouraging more frequent logging, as you can now enter your nutrition routine, water intake, exercise and you can set special alarms through a simple click of a button. Cortana will help you log on all the data you find relevant and efficient in keeping track of all variables that are important for your health.
FitBit also offers upgraded Bluetooth syncing on all Windows 10 devices and supported hardware as well, for a much easier and quicker access to health and fitness statuses.
Microsoft has designed a special notification center which puts all important notifications in a single place. Support lets users customize their view and bring personalized data to the forefront.
Our rapidly changing world fails to allow us the time to consider, track and manage all the activities that have a deep impact on our health. With the help of advanced technology, we can better manage our fitness activity, dietary habits, heart rate, steps and a list of other factors that overall contribute to our general health levels. We can register, assess, analyze and improve any activity that can influence our life. We can also set goals with FitBit and better manage our sleeping habits. FitBit fits Windows 10 pretty well and we cannot wait to see it roll out on all devices.
