Donald Trump Would Install A Dictatorship
It was Thursday when we understood that Donald Trump would install a dictatorship. Signs have been out there ever since he voiced his opinions about Mexicans, but the plain truth was set out yesterday when Trump declared that he would add mandatory registration for any Muslim entering the country. There was a time, 75 years ago, when Germans were convinced that Jews should receive a “lesser treatment” simply because they were Jews, so let’s not make that same mistake again.
The extent of the issue is a worrying one and you can tell that when both Democrats and Republicans are not in agreement with this sort of policy. It does not matter that some say it out loud or if others decide to decline it in a more silent matter. The important feedback is that there is only one word which describes the desire for this type of action: no. And you would do well to understand it, Trump.
When an NBC News reporter approached the presidential candidate with the question of whether Muslims should be forced to register in the United States, Trump responded firmly that “they have to be”. This fort of extremism, without even giving the idea a thought, shows us exactly who we are dealing with. And if you think about it, Trump is almost promoting the same ideas as Hitler did.
Let’s make America great again, because everyone is not treating it with the respect it needs, just like Germany needed the respect after World War I. Let’s invest more money in the military. To protect ourselves from all the dangerous countries which are out there, right? Because there are so many dangerous countries that pose a threat to America right now, right? And Muslims and Mexicans are some sort of lesser people who deserve to be treated differently.
The world made a mistake 75 years ago for putting a man in charge because he was so emotional about his country and did nothing else than to throw it into more dirt that it ever found itself in. Let’s all wake up, people. Trump would install a dictatorship and it’s up to us to see that we do not destroy our country by electing this rich extremist.
There was an interesting conclusion drawn from Business Insider a few days ago: “the more people get to know Trump, the more they hate him.”
