Diablo III and Heroes of The Storm Promo
Diablo and Heores of the Storm players are in for a treat next week. The release of Kharazim, a non-forgettable monk from Diablo III will enable a variety of cross-game promotions for the hero players who enjoy both games.
Playing one game gives rewards for another and the rewards involve mounts, pennants and borders that are limited to this event only, so you’d better head out and claim the spoils of a thousand victories while you have the chance.
The entire reward bundle is announced in Heroes of the Storm’s new patch notes. If you are an Diablo III game owner and decide to log in to Heroes of the Storm after the Kharazim patch, you will receive the Diablo hero for free. You will have to log into the game at a maximum of 3 weeks after the patch launched, or you can say your goodbyes to the Lord of Terror.
Diablo is a warrior character in Heroes of the Storm which is characterized by increased survivability and crowd control effects. If you are the type of player who enjoys gap closer skills and stunning your enemies to death, Diablo might be the hero you are looking for. He can also choose from two heroic abilities: stunning all enemies for 1 second or dealing damage in a line.
The reason why you would want to get Diablo during this patch is because you would save $8.49 or 7 thousand gold in game, which takes about two weeks to farm if you do so casually.
The second round of the promotion will start on August 28th with the beginning of Diablo III’s season 4. Once the new season is up and going, you will have to achieve level 70 with a seasonal character to unlock a gorgeous mount in Heroes of the Storm: Malthael’s Phantom. Just like all other mounts, it will be available to all heroes who can ride a steed in the game.
Also, the players who reach level 12 in Heroes of the Storm will receive a new portrait border with the Heroes of the Storm style and a pennant that they can wear on their Diablo III character.
So to keep things simple: Diablo will be a reward after the Kharazim patch and Malthael’s Phantom will be given away only after Diablo’s 4th season begins. So if you are a fan of both games, you definitely want to blow the dust off both of them and check them out next week and on the 28th of August.
