Johnny Shane Kormondy and two other men were charged with killing Gary McAdams in 1993 and raping his wife during a home-invasion robbery while the couple was away for their high school reunion. The couple had just returned from their high school reunion.
The execution took place in Oklahama and Florida on Thursday night after the US Supreme Court narrowly rejected all pleas despite concern about the nature of the lethal drugs used for the injections.
