Battlefield One will receive a new DLC in February.
Having fun plowing your way in WWI tank? Well, you might be thrilled to hear that yet another Battlefield I DLC is coming your way with new weapons, gadgets, maps, and achievements. Coined Apocalypse, the new DLC is due to come out in February.
Battlefield One Apocalypse Features Five New Maps
According to EA, come February, all Premium Pass owners will be able to enjoy yet another gut-wrenching World War I story. Apocalypse, the latest DLC in a series of four, will feature five new maps, each one of them being faithful to the historical truth.
Join your favorite faction and battle across the muddy field of Passchendaele, engage in bloody hand-to-hand combat in mountain trenches along the Isonzo River or flee for your life in this gruesome recollection of the River Somme battle.
There are two additional maps available – Razor’s edge where as part of the British RAF contingent you’ll have the opportunity of engaging the ace German fighter pilots over snow-covered mountains or, if you’re up to it, you can always try your hand at the London Calling map, where Queen and country calls upon you to defend British shores.
As expected, the Apocalypse DLC will also feature brutal war tools such as the meat cleaver and prybar. Weapons-wise, players will have the opportunity of handling the RSC SMG along five other unique WWI inspired weapons.
To make things even more interesting, you’ll soon be able to use amazing war gadgets such as the AA Rocket Gun. For those of you who want to take to the skies and blow everything to smithereens, the Airco DH10 and the Hansa Brandenburg GI will stand at your beck and call.
Other goodies featured by the Battlefield One DLC will be new assignments, dog tags, new specializations, and a new stationary weapon, the Livens Projectors.
