Sources working for the adultery site reported that approximately 4 million new members have joined the secret hush-hush community after the site’s security has been breached by an unknown hacker group.
According to their recollection of the event, it would seem that earlier this year, a group of hackers decided tot exploit several vulnerabilities found in site’s security web. During the attacks, more than 32 million identities were disclosed. And it would seem that this is only part of the problem because more than 39 million users were affected by this attack.
The perpetrators refrained from disclosing their identities or the motives behind their wanton attack. But it would seem that his event hasn’t affected the new member’s decision of joining the online dating site.
As stated, more than 4 million new members have joined the adultery dating site right after the attack occurred.
Avid Life Media, the company behind the Ashley Madison online dating site concept, refrained from making ample declarations on the subject. Instead, they seem keen on dismissing the comments posted all over the social media.

But, back in August, the Ashley Madison site came forward in order to dismiss a couple of rumors concerning the site’s early demise. An official spokesperson from the company stated that the rumors hovering around the web are exaggerated and that the site will not go down anytime soon.
In order to reinforce this idea, the official spokespersons from the Ashley Madison site declared during their August statement that more than 2.8 million women decided to chat on the online platform after the hacking incident.
The Ashley Madison, as portrayed by its makers, is an online dating platform which is capable of providing people with the opportunity of discreet relationships. No new news about the company’s policy towards cyber-attacks, meaning that we don’t know if the site managed to patch up the loopholes inside their security web.
