YouTube is on a constant path of progress and popularity, according to the latest reports and statistics. Google’s video streaming channel is winning large masses of public and it is doing a great job in keeping its position as a market leader. Although strong competitors such as Facebook are trying to sabotage and take the number one spot from the giant, it hasn’t managed to get close to the video giant.
YouTube is by far the stronger player in the video market, with more than 300 hours of video being uploaded per hour. Cable TV networks are preparing to enter the dusty files of history, as a new replacement is doing a great job in keeping up the pace with evolution.
After changing schemes and strategies, YouTube is presently bringing great changes to its app and later this year we will be able to watch videos in 3D with 360 degree views to boost the 3D effect. The new features were revealed by YouTube’s CEO, during a speech made yesterday.
The new format allows marketers to improve their storytelling and be more attractive to consumers. 360 degree videos perform much better compared to the standard video ad spots. With the new option, mobile video advertising gets a complete revamp. The 3D videos added to the YouTube app will completely change the advertising experience both for consumers and marketers.
This new piece of information comes right after another update has been recently announced. Android users will be able to watch a video in full screen while in vertical mode. The tools which allow video uploading to the site will be upgraded as well, in order to create a complete, complex and user friendly product. You will be able to trim a video and make it easy to add background music and use filters.
According to a recent update, the iOS YouTube app rolled out as well, offering full screen vertical video support to the iPhone.
Advertising tools have also been upgraded, in order to expand the diversity of consumers, investors and developers. Users are now able to see a buy button next to the commercial appearing before a certain video starts. Video bloggers are on their way to celebrity via YouTube, as the channel enhances virtual dialogue and offer voices the chance to stand out from the crowd.
